in addition to “21”

I wanted to add something to my last blog that woke me up this morning. 

In Romans it says,

 8:31-39 So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture: 

   They kill us in cold blood because they hate you. 
   We’re sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one.

None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.

The Message

Nothing can get between this sickness and my hope to be healed. I have complete faith that this will be over by December with absolutely no complications in between.

    This is one of the most brave and stunning things I have read in a while along side your mum’s raw and jaw dropping accounts of your and her journey. I met you as a baby and have watched you grow from that wee baby to the beautiful wise woman you are today from the sidelines. AS I read your blog and respond to your mum’s tweets I am prompted again and again to pray for your needs and believe with you from across the world (Boston) for total healing. You are one incredible woman with an inspiring spirit and an amazing life story to tell. The world is waiting….

      hey gillian! of course i remember you. i’m so glad this inspires you. i love jon foreman. are you talking about the fiction family album?? my friend went to the U.S. and saw him live and got thrown out the cd. and he brought it back for me. how cool.

    oh my goodness dear sammy, look at you changing so many lives.
    i was so inspired by you the first time i met you. it was at a leaders day at oxford falls tennis club i remember it clearly. muz mentioned something about how you thought it would be cool to have a new christians retreat there, and i was the shy girl who went up to you after and said how amazing i thought you were and i love that idea!
    to this day, my thoughts have never changed in that you are truly the most inspirational and beautiful person i no with such a creative spirit and the presence of God on your life.
    God has blessed and ordained your life for touching so many other lives. i love that. i love that i met you now so that i can see your journey in faith.
    i go to Loreto Kirribilli which is a catholic school and every morning we do a prayer followed by intentions where we can say a name outloud in turn. its funny because every morning without fail i say your name and everyone looks at me and wonders when i will stop. i no the day will come. sammy you have truly touched my life. and im only one person, imagine the multitudes of lives you have touched already and your all of 21!
    I just cant wait till someone plucks up the courage to actually ask about you at school after prayer and then i can tell them what an amazing person you are and what a wrap i would give about the favour God has placed on your life!
    anyway thinking of you always and always you bundle of love. thanks so much for everything your doing to this world. your seriously shaking it up!
